The lightest Colnago ever built: The V5Rs is the lightest Colnago ever built, with a paint-ready frame weighing just 685 grams. The frame kit weighs 12.5% less than its predecessor, without sacrificing stiffness.
Slimmer Profiles: The experience gained with the Y1Rs has allowed for the refinement of the V5Rs' design, which features slim, high-performance profiles. In the wind tunnel, its aerodynamic performance approaches that of the best aerodynamic frames.
Reduced Frontal Area: The frontal area of the V5Rs measures 250 cm², 13% less than its predecessor. The evolution of the head tube, now narrower, helps reduce air resistance and save watts.
Stiff and Responsive: The V5Rs combines lightness and aerodynamics without compromising stiffness and responsiveness, ensuring performance suited to the needs of the UAE Teams' professional riders.
More Precise Handling: The V5Rs features a new, lighter, and more precise fork. The 32mm tire clearance allows for wider tires: more grip, handling, and speed on rough terrain. Absolute carbon quality: Thanks to new lamination techniques, the arrangement of carbon fibers is studied and controlled in every area of the frame. The result is a lightweight, strong, and durable structure.
